Divisional. In public services teams may be split into divisions, which are identifiable and have a clear role. In the army there are 5 divisions Departmental. In public services most teams will split into different departments. In each department there will be a leader, they will be in charge of the department and the team’s actions.
Every link in the chain of command must trust each other from the very top to the very bottom. When trust is lost at any level it can cause many problems within the unit and affect the overall mission. The chain of command must trust that you can perform your duties. Junior enlisted soldiers perform their duties to standard AND to the best of their ability. This means performing individual tasks identified by first line supervisors based on the unit’s mission.
It may be helpful to think of these as internal and defining qualities possessed all the time. As defining qualities, they make up the identity of the leader. The knowledge that leaders should use in leadership is what Soldiers and Army civilians KNOW. Leadership requires knowing about tactics, technical systems, organizations, management of resources, and the tendencies and needs of people. Knowledge shapes a leader’s identity and is reinforced by a leader’s actions.

Situational leadership is based on several factors that involve motivations and the situation that is on hand. Every organization needs to be managed in some form of manner, and leaders of these organizations need to make sure that they have four key that can help them succeed in the responsibilities of being a good leaders, and these these keys include: 1) there ability of planning, 2) have a good understanding of organizing, 3) ability to lead by example, and 4) there ability to control a situation. The structure is quite vast within this entity, but for CHS Home Support Services there is a president, a compliance officer, three managers, two supervisors, and support staff. When an issues staff members need to follow the chain of command. An organizational process is a design of procedures for staff to complete necessary tasks. Management decides these goals for each staff member, and assembles staff with the structure to work together and accomplish the organizations goals. The process brings staff members to work together and not individually.
This type of process can vary from one organization to another organization. The process requires having a high degree of support from the senior executive team and must be viewed as an organizational priority. The process also requires sufficient staff, time, and resources to be devoted to the process. The system implementation process has a few steps that are required to take in order to get the process running. Assignment for Week 2 (5-5-10) Harvey Scribner Organizational Analysis – US Army / School District of Philadelphia US ARMY ORGANIZATIONAL ANALYSIS The US Army is organized from the President of the United States (Commander-In-Chief) down to the individual soldier into a hierarchy that allows for the control of specific units within various fields of control. The world is divided to sections that are maintained by regional commands. Each command is organized into smaller Field Army units, then into Corps, Divisions, Brigades, Battalions, Companies, Platoons, and Squads. Each level is controlled by a specific level officer from Staff Sergeant at the bottom to four-star General at the top. Additional support units are also attached depending on mission, terrain, and environment.
It is a code by which most of them carry on even as they perform their duties and tasks in the Army. Times of need are what help in shaping the army’s culture, and assist them in becoming more than just an institution that is meant to serve and protect. The attitudes, feelings, and emotions are what help in distinguishing this institution’s culture from all others, making it what it needs to be in order to get things done (Student Handout, 2010). The HR Sergeant’s Role in the Army Profession In the army, the HR sergeant’s role is to establish a relationship with the professional in all the fields present for various reasons. The main one is to ensure that all the professionals in the field are focused on the tasks at hand.
Accountability is something you hear more and more of in the army, and other armed forces. Knowing where things are and who has responsibility for it is vital for the mission and productivity at work. This essay will show the importance of accountability for the size of the army, a detachment, down to the individual themselves. Even though the size of the army is large and numerous the basics are the same for all three and those basics are knowing what you have, how many, and who’s in charge of it. When it comes down to something like an army size extent you’re talking about things ranging from equipment, intelligence, down to personnel themselves.
