An implementation methodology is important to use to ensure projects are delivered to client's specifications, and are on time and budget. It must be performed in a well thought-out approach so that the deliverables are plainly defined as objectives or milestones. At the end of each phase, a milestone certificate is generator for the client to sign-off thus validating that this portion of the implementation meets the specification of the organization’s requirements. Focus has developed a very structured approach to implementation methodology from a project management standpoint. Focus help organizations minimize and control project overall risk by first maintaining a one point interface between Focus and the client. Focus recommends a central coordinator through the duration of the implementation, and based on the size of the project the coordinator can have other members to make up the central team. Focus also recommends rotating members from departments with particular modules being implemented. The involvement of the client is pretty critical in the implementation, especially in providing input on what they want and what the system should do. Through the involvement of the user, Focus reduces the likelihood of user-designer communications gap. By allowing the users to start using the software early during implementation they gain experience and create the output that can assist Focus to develop prioritized reports further aiding the way the data is to be processed in the system. Using the output oriented approach; the outputs are first clarified, which help with the business rules of the inputs along with defining the processing logic needed to arrive at the final output. Taking these approach further aids in the systems coming online as scheduled, within the set budget, and meeting the requirements specified by the organization. After reviewing
