BACKGROUND The New York Philharmonic Orchestra as a group of professional musician faces some stressors that hinder them to give their best in performing. These stressors are the physical demands, conflict between personal and professional roles and the strain of working closely with small group. III. VIEW POINT We view the article as if we are the head or the leader of the group. We take into consideration the point of view of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra’s head as if we are in his shoe to site the problems or any possible solution. IV. PROBLEMS a. Main Problem As the editorial reveals, the main problem of Philharmonic Orchestra is the stress they faced as a group that obstruct them to execute their best in performing. These stressors are the physical demands, conflict between personal and professional roles and the strain of working closely with small group. b. Secondary Problem The secondary problem that they face is the stress that each member faces in their personal life. These stressors are the demanding schedule that makes them hard to give time for their families. Another stressor is the financial problem in purchasing instrument and other personal worries like aging and perfectionism. c. Issues The main issue is how they would face this problem and able to manage this stressor so they could perform well.
