Sadly, people who are truly themselves, and stick to their values and beliefs tend to be alone and get overlooked often, but that’s not their problem. Just because some people use their brain, it doesn’t mean they’re boring. People who can't enjoy their life without alcohol, drugs, partying, and all their friends, are much more pathetic than people who can enjoy life without all
Drill team gave me the knowledge that grades in high school do play an important role in life and I knew that if I put enough heart into it I would succeed. My coaches made an impact on me because they differentiated me from other and made me realize that I made a huge difference to the team. They gave me the opportunity to showcase what I had, which made me sense I was notable and helped to raise my confidence. I have never been able to adjust to situations as well as others but the confidence I gained from drill team experiences helped to change that. My confidence plays a big role in the person I am today.
The book, China’s Son, perfectly shows how family caused effect on Chen Da, and made him become successful. Although there are many reasons why someone can achieve their dream and the first thing we think of is their hard work. Hard working isn’t the only factor that makes people succeed; research had shown “23 percent of educational attainment is determined by environment, implying that up to 77 percent is determined by nature” (U.S Elementary and Secondary School). There are many causes and factors to make a successful person, and family background and environment is the main reason behind succeed among all of others. Family along can’t make someone become successful, but it’s the main influence behind someone had
Human example and influence are also very powerful and can corrupt the mind eager for recognition or that craves to feel wanted and accepted. The morals and values that this type of person has been taught are pushed to the back of his/her mind and become less important than the need to "fit in". Unfortunately for these people, any attention and recognition is sought after, even if it is negative. There is an obvious difference between those who are afflicted with no conscience at birth and those who have one. No amount of moral teaching or love and comfort will keep these people satisfied and happy to be "good".
However, people in contemporary society have to take more pressure than before because they are “labeled” by secular trend in so many aspects. For example, people usually rely on their academic degree to show they are smart ones and they also compare positions to judge whether a man successful or not. In other words, the evaluation standard becomes more and more straight forward, if a person could always win in his career, nearly everyone will think that he is a success man and give the heaping praise to him. Unfortunately, not all of the winners get their praise through valid way, but people always choose to ignore these dark sides, for they give tacit consent to a concept that the winners’ glory could eclipse their flaw. Yes, comparing with the villains, unscrupulous persons could be easier to get others’ tolerance.
It is hard to focus and my study methods are vastly differed from those of an average college student. I am an aspiring student but struggles with focusing in on main projects as I want to ramble in a different direction. In order to get past this I must get in to a routine that requires a type of consistency in my studies. In the same way, Malcolm X had to learn to enhance his education he had to study consistently all day and every free moment in his day. I have to do the same in order to become a successful student.
Having this belief during this point of the game really helps out a lot. Having this core belief helps a ton in future life. For example, it helps you get good grades so that you can get into a good college. As you go through school it just gets harder and harder and sometimes you just aren't smart enough to keep getting good grades but you can always try your hardest no matter what. Nobody can take away your level of effort.
The will within each of us to achieve that goal should never be underestimated. However relationships can bring both joy and fulfilment and sadness and loneliness - that is part of living for all of us. Too often, however, this aspect of living is ignored - not considered important or discussed - especially if a person has a disability. In relationships, people with physical disabilities have the same desires and aspirations, hopes and fears, dreams and fantasies, worries and hang-ups as everyone else. The success of achieving one's ideal depends upon an individual's personality, attitude, resolve and opportunity.
The demand for students who barely receive their diploma or even a bachelor’s degree is slowing decreasing. Many companies are looking for those students that excel and are able to constantly work. With that said, foreigners are filling jobs in America due to their education system, which is why I believe that America should transform their education to become year-round. From there on, students will be able to fully benefit from the education system as well as compete in the job
This system, along with an intrinsic motivation to do well, has always encouraged me to do my best in school and do whatever I could to learn more and keep my grades high, resulting in me being a better student, learning more study skills, and getting higher grades than I might have otherwise. I have noticed, however, that the conditioning was more effective before college. Now that I am living away from my parents and do not know many of my professors personally, I do not have the immediate day-to-day rewards or punishments. The effects persisted strongly in my first few months of college, but then slowly declined. I still work hard and get good grades, but there is less of a motivation to study constantly and I often find myself not using my free time as efficiently as I would have at home.
