Company Q could take a few simple steps which would support their need to improve profit, engage their employees in a shared corporate vision, and build a supportive relationship with the community. When looking at the life on City Road (‘The Street’, 2009) and observing what happens throughout the course of a day, it is clear that the road is used by a variety of people for many different reasons. City Road has local shops up and down both sides, covering a large range of ethnic cultures. There are food shops, clothe shops, tailoring shops, a sport centre, which on the weekend turns into a market and local newsagents. Recently on City Road, a Tesco convenience store has been opened which to some has proven to be very popular and convenient but for others, it has made life quite difficult. Some of the local shops have been passed down through generations and a shop with such a large market chain attached to it has put many local businesses out of pocket.

Currently, people are becoming more cautious when it comes down to their diet in food meaning that the image of only selling unhealthy choices will be a severe barrel for a company to attract new customers. Between Mcdonalds and Chick-Fil-A , some may wonder , “Which is the better choice?”.
One of the marketing strategies that ensure the company of long-term profitability is the personal relationship built with the customer base. Customers will not have the same shopping experience with large grocery stores. If there are items that customers would like to have available in Kudler stores they are able to communicate that to management. Management can then relay the data to Kathy Kudler who will search the world for the best available items to satisfy the customer. People will not have the loyalty they get from Kudler at other grocery marts.

A society we must respect those individual rights. As a manager at Kudler Fine Foods, I would expect that employees and customers are respected and recognized individually. My focus would not be on what may be most beneficial to society or the grocery industry in general, but on what is most beneficial to my internal and external customers. For example, some managers may believe that it is a waste of resources to offer free food samples. When looking at the bottom line, this practice takes an employee away from working the register or counter as well as increases the costs associated with providing goods for no profit.
Like when I see supermarkets advertising to buy their simple and cute reusable bags and become a “smart shopper” by not wasting plastic bags and have your own reusable bags when you go grocery shopping to help reduce the amount of plastic being wasted. It just sucks to see that the majority of people don’t cope with the project; I’m sadly one of those people. When I go grocery shopping I honestly do not even think about any reusable bags. It just does not click in my mind that it would be better for the environment if I take reusable bags. The day that happens though, I am going to feel so proud of myself.
Kudler’s has an inventory that consists predominantly of perishable goods that require replacement often. Kudler’s could cut costs and leave items on the shelf a day or two longer, but that would call into question their very reason for existence in being known for fresh foods. Reputation with customers can be lost with one poor decision. One way to counter that is to provide exceptional customer service. Kudler’s means of differentiating itself from the competition is its ability to provide the best products and the best customer service.
He insists they would not eat as much if they knew that it was bad for them or if the industry put nutrition labels on their food. My outlook on this topic varied significantly from that of Zinczenko’s. I feel that it is not the fault of the fast food company. Neither would I put blame on the younger children who eat fast food. I would put most of the culpability on the parents who do not teach their kids how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and buy their children unhealthy food. I disagree completely that we as Americans suffer from lack of information about nutrition in fast food.
