Street food around the world The speed of life seems to be double every decade, and the citizens of developed countries are determined to deal with this changing in every possible way. People try to manage their time as properly as they can. Work, studying, family, friends, hobbies, travel… all this takes time, and people trying to do as much as they can. That is why quick snack has become so popular in recent decades. It is very rare to see family having dinners together in urban areas. People eat anywhere and anytime they can. “Street food is one of the most common and moderate ways of outdoor snacking”. “Street food is everywhere and it is impossible to eliminate its existence. Street foods are consumed in many areas. Often sold by street vendors and peddlers, street food is usually ready to eat food or drink sold in a street or other public place, such as a market or fair, by a hawker or vendor, often from a portable stall”( Marina, 3406-3413). "In a lot of ways I think food is starting to take the place in culture that rock and roll took 30 years ago, in that eating has become incredibly political.
