He has a lot of help and many years to come up with this technology. Pushing his ideas to the extreme, he made employees work long hours and on a “need to know basis”. If Jobs never pushed though, the world could be a very different place than what it is now. Fred Vogelstein goes into how risky it was for Apple to “show off” the Iphone for the first time. “Not only was he introducing a new kind of phone-something Apple has never made before- he was doing so with a prototype that barely worked.” (2).
Leadership style to Steve Jobs is alike. I love working with a great team therefore I would hire people with experience but is will to take a risk as well. By that I mean trying new things in the company that will bring in more revenue and to let go of past policy and procedures that has not worked in years. Our leadership style is built on experience, motivation and to be daring (meaning doing things no one never
Apple Computer: Research how Apple managed to reinvent itself over the years. When it comes to innovation there are few companies that can stand next to Apple. Love them or hate them no one can deny their impact on the technology field. In 1976 Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak dropped out of college and developed a computer (Apple 1) in their garage. Aside from the Apple 1 being the beginning of personnel computing the two innovators were able to capitalize on the fact that they were nobodies from nowhere and managed to intrigue the world with their product.
I always liked electronics since a young age, I enjoyed breaking my electronics, my video games, my toys apart and trying to understand how they worked and then trying to put them back together again. I must admit that I was not always successful but I learned a lot from my experiences. Then, as I grew up, I studied physics and got more insight into transistors, resistors and conductors, my curiosity grew stronger as well. My goal is to design devices that will help and make people life a little easier. For this, I know California University of Pennsylvania is the best choice for
Capitan Mark Kelly Ever since I was a young girl I have always had great dreams and high expectations for myself. Anytime I was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I would quickly reply” a lawyer” As the years went by I still had that goal in mind, but I began to realize that I was not exactly Ivy League material. Though I did work really hard in my classes, I was still at best average. During my junior year I took my SAT’s, and cried when I got my scores back. For many years I was scared to go to college because I thought I wasn’t college material.
I have to do research in my current professional life and I feel that as I am not a master of these skills, I improve every day. I can utilize not only the physical written word effectively when obtaining information I can effectively navigate online resources as well. I feel that North Central University so far has given me valuable information with regards to these skills. I look forward to using them going forward in my future classes. I am a lifelong learner so I will never say I have a mastery of any skill as there is always something new to be learned, or changes made to existing skills.
A childs largest support system stems from their imediate environment and their family. His first views of himself will be how I view him and I will never let him think he is not good enough. In my eyes he was born good enough and will only become better. As much as he is punished when he has done wrong, he will more so be praised for when he does right. I know the more focus I place on his assets rather than liabilities the more they will nurture and grow.
Nowadays I really don’t mind going to school, but I really hated it before. This year of school isn’t all that important to my career, it’s more the foundation of my education. Throughout this year I’ll be learning all the basics of working with automations, which is going to be necessary no matter what I decide to do once the semester is over. Once I finish this year of school, I can choose two ways to reach my goal of becoming an automatics engineer. I can either continue the automatics education I’m taking right now, or I could start taking Intermediate general education classes.
2. You won’t always get what you want. – We don’t always get the role we wanted, go on pointe when we want, get the job we want, hear the compliments we want, make the money we want, see companies run the way we want, etc, etc. This teaches us humility and respect for the process, the art form and the masters we have chosen to teach us. The faster we accept this, the faster we can get on with being brilliant.
Even though the two different ways of obtaining an education are very similar, the teaching technique is slightly different. To me online education has been one of the relaxed ways to get through many of my college classes. I can absorb what I want to learn whenever or wherever I would like. I began taking online classes because it was tough for me to meet the expense of daycare for my children, transportation to and from my school was hectic; and taking off from work or cutting my days and hours back was just not in my budget, just to attend a classroom lesson. I had many personal commitments to deal with on a regular basis that did not allow me to sit in a classroom for several hours.
