Steve Job's Influence on My Life

Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence. Steve Jobs once said "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle." Although I never was a fan of Apple products, I couldn't deny the fact that Steve Jobs had a huge impact on the way I believed and saw opportunities. Thinking that I would have to accept whatever career I could perform the best at, I was ready to give up on many of my dreams until I read about Steve Jobs' "story" and his road to success. I've always been fascinated with electronic technology. Early on, I threw myself at mastering every basic computer operation that I knew of and went out of the way to get my hands on the latest and greatest electronics. I was a self proclaimed IT genius. As a grew older and started making more important decisions for myself, I realized how much I had yet to learn about these electronics. As a result, I pondered how I might utilize my passion for electronics with a possible career choice. And so, my sophomore year of high school I enrolled in a computer programming class. Needless, to say, it was one of my favorite high school courses between freshman and junior year. I could make my own applications and didn't have to rely on others to create things for me. Since then, I've enrolled in many more computer science courses in the following years to expand my knowledge on this fascinating science.
