UNDERSTAND HOW TO REFLECT ON PRACTICE ADULT SOCIAL CARE SETTINGS. 1.1 EXPLAIN WHAT REFLECT REFLECTIVE PRACTICE IS. The principles surrounding reflective practice are that it is a practice that allows us to reflect on our knowledge, ideas, experience and values that impact on our actions, it is a process where we can stand back and take time to think about a meaning given to a situation or set of circumstances in a particular time and place in relation to our self, others and a wider context. This approach offers a structure that enables multiple ideas from a variety of sources that are available. While in the work place I often experience many challenges, by taking a step back and evaluating the situation, my actions and experience I can make informed choices that can help me to perform in a caring productive way.
For months, we enthusiastically planned out the details to go to Kenny Chesney’s concert, even to what we were going to wear. Kate seemed eager, until two days before the concert, when she told me she couldn’t go anymore. Her excuses were the usual ones “I have a bunch of homework,” “I have chores to do,” and “I’m too tired.” I was heartbroken. Although she tried to gain back my trust by assuring me that she would go some other time, I could never believe her. Her perspective had been different from mine.
And my grandmother had a high school education. She became a house wife with five children. So selling the idea to them was going too hard to convince them. I had the whole school year to talk to them. So when I see them on the weekend, I would try to fill them out.
My junior year, she helped me get over my stage fright by allowing me to sing a solo at "Winter Concert." Which was terrifying, but she helped me relax and I did well. I love to learn new things from her and she was driven by the joy of learning from us. Her determination to give her choirs the best has really shown me how much she likes to bond with her students. A lot of people take it easy, but she likes to push us and help us succeed at what we want and determine to get.

This is something that I, personally, have witnessed growing up in a family with eight other siblings and two sets of parents. My stepmother, when asked how she runs a family with eight children, says that, “Multitasking is a skill that takes many years to master. You can’t just learn one day how to balance many tasks and manage to get them all done in a timely fashion. It takes many years to grasp, but also to learn how to complete your everyday jobs well is another skill itself.” Many studies have shown that the quality of work done by multitaskers is far worse then non-multitaskers. It seems to be the trend in getting work done as quickly as possible, even if that means doing them all at once.
