CYPOP4-1.1 Explain why physical activity is important to the short and long term health and well-being of children. Physical activities are an essential component in children’s overall health and well-being. Many of the population of children don’t seem to be as active as they should be and this has harmful short-term and long-term effects on their health and well-being. Being very active/physical can prevent these effects. The current guidelines for physical activities suggest that children should be doing at least an hour everyday of some form of exercise engaging in physical activities.
Because they are more interested into the newest type of technology. If children big in size and they get bullied for it, they are going to feel very self-conscious. If children join in on fitness they are going to be healthier and are going to feel better about their selves. The sport expenses are very high these days and make it hard for parents to put the children in a sport as there are no cheap sports and/or activities. Due to the expenses of food and school it is difficult for parents to pay for sports.
I feel I can make a difference in someone’s life with my experience and drive. 2. At what level(s) do you want to coach/teach and why? I would like to coach at the junior high school level because this is the time when most children develop their brains and motor skills. At this point in their lives I believe the players would be more receptive of the training and understand why you work so hard in practice.
When they see that it makes them want high and fatty foods. Some even cry for it. Parents don’t realize that they are hurting their children when they give them the lots of junk food. Some just don’t want to hear their children mouth. For each extra hour children spend watching TV children gained more than two extra pounds of body fat.
This ensures that the student will have more confidence in themselves because of their achievements in martial arts. This will give students who have low self-esteem high self-esteem or improvement in their self- esteem. This will give each student a better image of themselves of who they are and what they have accomplished in martial arts. Each student learns self-defense techniques to protect themselves when needed. The martial arts students will learn how to respect themselves more and how to respect other people around them.
Play time can also become a family experience which serves to bond family members together and allow adult members an opportunity to model healthy exercise habits for children. Exercise also helps young children develop a healthy self-image and positive self-esteem as they take pride in their physical accomplishments. The exhilaration that comes with running, laughing, and playing can also boost a child's mood. This leads to one of the most important reasons kids should play outside: its fun! When children do exercise it can benefit from regular exercise because if they are active they will have stronger muscles and bones.
Students will be less focused in school, and less likely to continue their educations, if they dread going to school each day. Including art and music in he curriculum will motivate students, and will inspire them to enjoy school. It will also give them a creative outlet. Many young people have trouble expressing their emotions in words, but find that the can communicate their ideas through music and art. Giving students an opportunity to create every day will keep them engaged in learning, keep frustration at bay, and lead to happier, more fulfilled children.
Children may be cheerful with new technology at first, but after excessive use and weight gain, they eventually become emotionally depressed with how their bodies look. Overall, the focus of this essay is to explain how technology causes obesity in children and to provide solutions that prevent future risks of childhood obesity. Parents play an important role in their child’s weight and they should be responsible for keeping them healthy. Also, children should adapt their bodies to become physically active from a young age, so that the growth of technology does not affect their

There are many factors that contribute to obesity in children including bad eating habits and lack of physical stimulation. But, the biggest problem today is the affect of the child's eating habit due to the fact that they are in a lower income family. Many may not believe it, but the economy is to blame for some of the children being over weight and unhealthy.
If children do not start good habits of activity at a young age, there is a high possibility of obesity. Teenagers should continue to participate in 60 minutes of physical activity per day which should be of moderate to vigorous intensity. School and possibly part time work can help accumulate physical activity minutes if they are of moderate or vigorous intensity, otherwise out of school sports and activities are highly recommended to help keep healthy. It’s much better to get involved in an out of school activity or sport as it is much harder to develop skills needed for these activities at a later age. Instead of walking to school, ride to school as riding is a moderate intensity activity.
