South park controversy South Park is an American animated situation comedy what we call sitcom. This animated series was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. South Park was created for mature audiences. The show has become famous for its vulgar language, surreal and strange humor that you cannot believe it is real. This animated series revolves around four boys which are the main characters for each episode; Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny and their bizarre adventures in a Colorado town. South Park is a wide range of topics. All characters and events in this show are based on real people. They make fun out of everything but they are entirely fictional. All celebrity voices are acted by Parker and Stone. The following program has being very controversial since 1997. This program has being very controversial because it contains coarse language and due to its content. Although is a very fun and enjoyable animated series it should not be viewed by anyone. Even though South Park has being very a controversial topic it also has being successful in certain ways. According to Jason Pye, South Park has being nominated for an Emmy award: “The two episodes of South Park that sparked so much controversy a couple of months ago have been nominated for an Emmy: The censored “South Park” episodes that satirized the Prophet Muhammad picked up an Emmy nomination for outstanding animation program on Thursday.”(Pye, 2010) References Pye, J.
