What are some of the advantages of being a small business that Murray’s can (or does) take advantage of? What disadvantages might it face as a small firm? One of Murray’s advantages of being a small business is that they can adapt to changes quickly. They do not need anyone else’s permission to do so. They keep their customers happy, by catering to customers’ needs and wants; like different merchandise, services, store hours, and price strategies.
Governments in NIC (newly industrialized countries) have tried to lure TNC to their countries. One way they have done this is by keeping the land prices artificially low; this is so the TNC can build factories and other building for less money. They also have a relaxed attitude to environmental laws so the TNCs do not have to pay out for expensive treatments for their waste so it complies with strict laws like the ones they have in the US, UK and Japan. Another thing that attracts TNCs to NICs is the cheap labour cost, weak unions and lack of minimum wage. This means that the TNC can pay workers less, not worry about providing good working conditions.
Figure 2b is a good place to build on for many reasons. One reason is that the land is very flat which means that it is easier to build hotels, and the land is also close to the beach, which means that more people are likely to visit. The beach is also clean and sandy, so it will be nicer to do some activities like sunbathing and swimming. The sea is good for boats, watersports, jet-skiing etc. The climate of the area also helps, as warmer weather is more attractive for tourists, meaning that they would be more likely to visit.
Many tourists enjoy exploring new opportunities and visiting Queensland’s wildlife. This is beneficial to the company as they offer a range of hikes to discover this real life experience. Another beneficial opportunity would be during different weather and drought seasons occurring. By using the funds that the resort gains from their environmental practices they can create activities including tours, sightseeing, and indoor relaxations that are therapeutic for the body and mind. Although they will need to invest their money into building covered areas for tours to still undertake commencement and hire new appropriate
SWCC offers tuition at a way cheaper scale than many universities. A big reason I chose SWCC for its small campus so that it easy to know my way around. My other reason for choosing SWCC is for their smaller classes they offer. Another reason for choosing SWCC is for its great parking, because finding a parking spot can be difficult at universities. A great reason why I chose SWCC is for the programs they offer, and the flexible schedule so you can have time to work if need to.
It seemed as if the grass were about to run over them…” (13). Grass would remain a major part of the landscape even if the trees were larger in size, just like the immigrants would remain a major part of America even when times got rough. Cather uses the Nebraska scenery to describe the calming and tranquil feelings that a character like Jim Burden or the Shimerda clan would; “On the edge of the prairie, where the sun had gone down, the sky was turquoise blue, like a lake, with fold light throbbing in it” (173). All around the people was something more; more than the town, more than the crops, more than themselves. When the characters stop and recognize surrounds them, the tranquility of their surroundings hint that good times will come; “There along the western sky-line, it skirted a great cornfield, much larger than any field I had ever seen.
This technique plays with our feelings. Fresh & easy uses this strategy to play with our emotions and by doing that they can influence or persuade us to a certain extent to buy their products over other stores. One example is when they use the word “Neighborhood”. This word means a lot to the low or middle class, so they use our feelings to buy their products from their store because we as human beings have the need to fit in within our community. They try to gain our consideration by emphasizing that as good neighbors they care about the environment by being “Green”.
I learned in high school that he walked the Appalachian Trail. I personally find it fascinating that he was here so close at one point. Since the Appalachian Trails are close to here, I figured it would be interesting to learn more about him. He loved being outdoors just like I do. I enjoy hiking and walking trails as well as he did.
The good I see in Oxnard is that we are right by the beach, so that gives us beautiful comfortable weather almost everyday. We are also well known for our strawberries and all the fields we have here. Although there could be room for improvement In Oxnard, such as making it a little bit more cleaner and trying to eliminate the graffiti and the gangs. Nevertheless Oxnard is my home and I come to love it just the way it is.

In addition, the beauty of it is very rewarding. The rolling hills, green pastures, and lawns with all the many different types and colors of flowers are so beautiful. The air is fresh and smells of fresh cut grass and hay. On warm evenings, you can enjoy the scenery with a barbeque and bonfire with your family and neighbors,
