Snacking between meals is always bad for health? In recent years, traditional meals have been gradually replaced by snacking. People today are often too busy to prepare for food or eat with their family. Addtionally some young people in today's society lack the skills to prepare food themselves. So more and more people choose to snack between meals. Speaking of whether snacking is good for your health or not, some people who are against it argue that snacks make people fatter and are unhealthy. They blame the increase of the rate of obese people on snacking. However, I support the idea that nibble between meals is good for your health because they provide energy, vitamins and minerals. First of all, workers and students need lots of energy for their work and studies. Snacks can give them enough energy when they feel tired and hungry. For example, it's easy for students to feel hungry when taking the last class. So students can eat some snacks in order to study well and stay energetic. Moreover, according to nutritionist Lee,"snacking improves the efficiency of work or study because workers and students have enough energy after they eat snacks." People can study and work longer if they don't feel hungry at their work place. Secondly, Snacking helps ease people's nervousness or uneasyness. Some students easily to feel a bit dizzy or even faint when they have an important test or speech; it's better for students to eat some chocolate or a biscuit before he or she take the test or gives the speech. Of course snacking is also good to ease workers' anxiety when they have business meetings ,presentations or interviews. Next, snacking between meals can supply vitamins and trace elements that are needed in people.
