The tar can get inside the lungs which can give you liver and lung disease and really effect your health badly. The events in Johns life that interrelate to effect his further development is that he has been made redundant and has taken up smoking and heavy drinking. This will physically effect his development as the constant drinking and smoking will go onto harm his organs and can lead to liver damage, lung cancer, yellow teeth’s or failure of the organ itself. As he has consumed alcohol, it will slow him down thus making his reaction to things slower than usual. His intellect will be affected as the intoxication will affect his judgement and John will be unable to make formed decisions as he wouldn’t be able to take things seriously. His perception and views on things around him will be altered as he is unable to think straight.

There are many appearances of the ‘N’ word and when we were reading in groups, it felt really uncomfortable when the word came up and I didn’t want to offend my classmates. In the story even the good guys have racial slurs. Another reason this book should not be read is because of its poor grammar. Aside from being very uncomfortable to read, it is also very difficult to understand. Reading the book; since you get mixed up in the bad grammar, it becomes very hard to comprehend the story or what is going on in the setting.
Because once you get to the filter, there is no tobacco left to smoke, and the people are being shown as the tobacco in this advertisement. So once they have smoked until they can’t anymore, they are dead. Smoking is leaving people helpless, and this advertisement is showing that they have no way of escaping the addiction. While not only showing that smoking leaves you trapped, this image also portrays a vision of what many people will say might look like hell. When most; who believe in it, think of hell, you think of fire, flames and destruction.
Zubair Abedin Block 4 The theme of the story Fahrenheit 451 written by Ray Bradbury is censorship. They live in the future where books are banned and the people are uneducated. If people have books in there possession then they’re in danger of getting in trouble by the authority. The main character of this book is Guy Montag who is a fireman, but in the future firemen start fires instead of putting them out, they start the fires in places that have books in them. Government should not be able to make personal decisions for society because it disrupts lifestyles and ultimately does not benefit people.

Many experts will also tell you second hand smoking is more dangerous than first hand, because of the unfiltered smoke containing 50 more cancerous substances than filtered cigarette smoke.
Smoking doesn’t make you cool or feel cool. In reality it’s smelly, it’s disgusting and it kills. Smoking cigarettes has the highest death rate in America today. As Brue Lee would say, I’m not this world to live up to peer pressure’s expectations; I am only here to live up to my own. So we decided to quit, well at least try to quit.
