France banning Religious Headwear The issue that I’m discussing is the religious and political view for the banning of the Islamic religious headwear in France. In France the government has ruled to ban Muslims, mostly girls from wearing there religious headscarf in schools. It has passed this law in August 2004, which will come into effect when the school year starts in 2004 in France soon. The banning of the Islamic headscarf will affect millions of Muslims living in France. This issue has been debated before, and since there was so much hostility in the world the French government has decided to make it an official law.
