For all intents and purposes I think that this guy is in the right. Thinking back to when I took shop classes I did nothing but screw around. After years of seeing kids disgrace the thing you’re trying to pass on, the very thing you love, it would drive the best of us
You work has always been on time. You have a wonderful insight with everything you write. How would you feel if someone stole or used your work as there own, and took credit for it. Not only that but got away with it. I have copied the section of the student code of conduct that you have broken here, I would like a response in 300-400 words, on the section of the student code of condust that deal's with all form of plagirism, and the previous work.
Mr. Ross’ class made The Wave more powerful because everyone joined it and people thought it was the “right” thing to do. Both stories share a theme topic but have different messages. Fist Stick Knife Gun by Geoffrey Canada and “The Wave” by Morton Rhue both share the theme topic of influence. Teenagers can easily be persuaded into thinking something by the peers around them. “He who influences the thought of his times influences the times that follow” (Elbert Hubbard).
Many of his students said they weren’t interested in what was being taught because it was stupid and they already knew the material. Gatto doesn’t place blame on any one party but places the blame on everyone. With this essay Gatto intends to get the proverbial wheels turning inside the readers mind by giving them a look into his own view of the educational world. He uses a host of examples to support his ideals. First, Gatto refers to a lesson his grandfather taught him at the ripe age of 7; his grandpa declared that if Gatto was bored that it was his fault and no one else’s.
They learn to deal with the mistakes they have done and learn from them. Maybe the greatest lesson The Youngers learn is that they must never let their greed overcome them Especially Walter when Mama corrects him when he says, " N0- it was always about money, Mama. We just didn't know about it." Pg.74 Throughout the time that this story began the Youngers has learned many lessons about
In the World State no one really grows up because the World State wants everyone to be happy and not experience pain which means no one loses their innocence. To grow up and become wiser, people need to get hurt and learn from
However even though Peekay is an outsider it doesn't stun him from becoming an outstanding student. Peekay still outshines everyone and reaches the top of the class. This was due to the fact that he kept fighting and didn’t let him being on the outside get him down. As Peekay grows he takes on a new type of camouflage, being the very best. It is ironic because standing out doesn't appear to be a way of hiding.
Most people who have attended school can remember back when it took an enormous amount of courage to face an intimidating bully. Standing up to one of these oppressing individuals might have seemed unreasonable or even impossible. I agree with Eleanor Roosevelt when she said that, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do." One must not allow another individual to take control through intimidation; furthermore, it takes strength from within to confront a bully with the intent of restoring a true and noble order in the once domineering association.
It also helped me grow as a person it taught me how to be more responsible and how to take control of a situation. I mean let me tell you in the beginning it was the hardest thing to get them to listen to me because they looked at me as another student not as there teacher. They never respected me and were always acting out of line. I slowly got better though they began to get use to me and the fact that they had to listen to me and I also began to listen to them instead of getting made I tried to listen. By the end of the year we had all gotten use to the situation and were sad to see the school year
I don’t think if he was different than any other fraud perpetrator. With all the research I did this week it looks like they all admit to their crime. They know it was wrong but they did it anyway with the attention to pay it back and even after he got caught and showed remorse he continued to steal. If you ask any fraud perpetrator if they think they are a good person their answer will be “Yes”. Miller felt that he was a good person and he never intended to hurt anyone.
