Key Supporting Ideas A. Tenenbaum cites Scott Lilienfeld, who is a professor of psychology who states that human behavior is hard to predict. B. The article expresses that even if the act of killing a lot a people in a movie theater may look crazy or an act of mental illness, in many times the perpetrator is actually a sane person. C. Tenenbaum expresses in his article that even thou that mental illness may play a role in mass killings it doesn’t help to identify who the next serial killer will be. D. The article states that many sings of a serial killer is someone who is extremely angry, frustrated, cruel to animals, aggressive, a blamer, bullied, and fantasized with guns and revenge, and are mostly male, only 5% of mass killers are women. In the article mentions that prison is not the best place for mentally ill people who have committed crimes to be, they need to be in treatment centers, prisons are not build to handle these people.
