This could be an extremely useful exercise for Koren. A lot of her anxiety and stress comes from her own person thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs. Rarely is she affected solely by something that another individual says or does. She is very hard on herself and it may provide her a great deal of relief if she could imagine others saying these things. Taking away the self-condemning nature of her thoughts could really change her perspective and feelings.

The series of difficult situations the characters go trough in the novel, allows the author to portray various social comments.

It could be that the subject wishes to develop him or her self in some area personally, maybe the subject wants to be a more confident public speaker, or overcome a fear or phobia such as a fear of flying or an aversion to spiders. Hypnotherapy is often used to simply reduce and relieve stress by getting us to relax. In today’s very demanding environment where we are constantly bombarded with work or home pressures of all sorts, it has become very difficult to relax. Our muscles are in a state of constant tension, total contraction, seemingly having forgotten how to relax themselves.
Gone but Not Forgotten Losing someone or something you love or care deeply about is very painful. A person may experience all kinds of difficult emotions and it may feel like the pain and sadness that they are experiencing will never let up. These are normal reactions to a significant loss. But while there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there are healthy ways to cope with the pain that, in time, can be renewed and help someone move on. Dealing with this pain can cause a person to become stronger or unfortunately can affect them negatively.
