Day centres make an important contribution to community awareness by acting as a preventative measure for problems caused by lack of social contact. Day centres allow older people to continue to lead an independent life by allowing members choice, control, independence and dignity through various activities and events provided. Members have many opportunities to contribute to the life of the day centre, through activities that encourage self-esteem and self-fulfilment. Many factors have contributed to the existence of Hospice and how the company is growing. The growth of the organization and the services they are able to offer has led to the requirement for more accountability from everyone in the company from the CEO to the lower level employees. Even though Hospice Savannah is a non-profit organization and is community-based, the services they offer and provide for terminally ill patients and their families are their top priority. Hospice Savannah relies on the organizational culture that they have built within the ranks to provide an environment for the terminally ill of their community and surrounding areas that gives their clients a comfortable environment and choices on how they would like to be cared for at their end of life stage. Internal factors that have defined the size of Hospice include the addressing of the fact that many patients and their families were suffering from terminal illnesses and their needs were not being met by the medical system.
(Remove the questions) As Priya (additional references) pointed out in the module, the area in which she lives play a big part in her own personal wellbeing this is because it provides some or all of the aspects of the wellbeing model (Strengthen the structure of the long sentences by reviewing them.). When people get a choice of where to live they look for aspects that they feel would make them happy and would possibly not connect with their wellbeing. Being in an area that is able to provide clubs for people of all ages has enabled Priya and her family to be connected (Aked and Thompson, 2011) to their peers, being involved in these clubs also means that Priya and her family are also able to give to others (Aked and Thompson, 2011) (Make

Old age can be the best time of a person’s life. Most old people are retired and can enjoy their life that they worked so hard for. Some things that old people enjoy included: traveling, watching grandkids, living on their schedule (sleeping in, staying up late, taking naps), and doing whatever they want. I hate to wish my life away but I KNOW I will enjoy growing old!!! 5.
The marketing needs for this demographic are for more affordable health programs, tax credits and other programs designed to help offset the surmounting costs of long term care for the elderly. The need for continued care, financial stability and insurance coverage will continue to escalate because the general population that is aging will continue to grow. People in their 40’s and 50’s are starting to take care of aging parents and sometimes grandparents in addition to their own young families. There is definitely an increasing need for more services that will make the transition and quality of life easy and more comfortable for the people needing the additional care and the peace of mind that their loved ones are being well taken care of until they draw their last
The Army and other branches of service can offer comprehensive, premium free, health care benefits. The health care is often referred to some of the best in the world. Inexpensive life insurance is also a perk or benefit to membership. The stability that a federal position offers in the current times of private business failure often draws individuals to seek enlistment. The upward mobility and the career advancement is self paced.
To keep clients active and reduce the chance of them becoming withdrawn from society I have thought about services such as befriending, shopping trips, luncheon clubs and many others which will help an individual enhance their daily living. These services would increase the individual’s confidence and self-esteem because they understand that the professionals who will be providing these services are here to help and encourage them to keep active in a positive way. Luncheon clubs/coffee mornings will allow others from the area such as friends and families of the clients within the care home who feel lonely or cut off to interact and keep their social interaction active as they grow older. Also, when people get older they like to have a group of friends normally about 4-5 who will go places together this is a social circle and when clients move to residential care they can’t do this no more which means that they lose contact with them certain indivudals. However, having luncheon clubs and coffee mornings allow their friends to visit, which means people won’t lose their social circle because they will have the chance to still engage with that group. However, sometimes there can be barriers which are causing people to withdraw from socialising
