Also to be aware of the diversity and needs of your patients and identify areas where needs could be better satisfied and where the diversity of patients could be improved.
This all promotes that everyone is equal but recognising that everyone has difference but should still be treated the same. You can support others to promote diversity, equality and inclusion by encouraging others to embrace difference, rather than rejecting it, just because it is not familiar to you through reducing fear and anxiety, broadening experience, increasing understanding and encouraging collaboration sharing thoughts and ideas with a wide range of people. All this will help support others.

Another important thing whilst working in health and social care is as a staff member you should be able to recognise people that are mistreated. With these things followed it shows the dedication and awareness to each client and allows them to feel valued and also respected. There are laws in place to ensure that every individual is treated equally this includes organisations having equality policies to reinforce the concept.
