Language is one of the most uniquely human abilities that humans possess. Human beings employ the symbolic system of language to make meaning and communicate with others. We use languages to establish and maintain our networks of friends and acquaintances. Therefore, people start learning other language for several goals. Second language acquisition means the acquisition of another language or languages after first language acquisition is under way or completed. (Fromkin, Rodman & Hyams, 2007) Learning another language gives the learner the ability to step inside the mind and context of that other culture. Second language acquisition, second-language learning, or L2 acquisition, is the process by which people learn a second language. Some people learn a new language more quickly and easily than others. Clearly, some language learners are successful by virtue of their determination, hard work and persistence. There are some major factors that influence the acquisition of a second language. For instance, for university students and professionals, language learning is often motivated by career. Regarding to culture and status, learners from multilingual nations can be integratively motivated to learn their national languages as a way of connecting with their countrymen, like English and French in Canada. Language acquisition and learning emphasize the learning process whilst the terms of formal and informal learning highlight the social and cultural context of learning as well as the notion is lifelong and life wide (Eaton, 2010). Acquisition is the product of a subconscious process, similar to the process that children undergo when they acquire their first language.
