At times it could represent how an individual get along with others; at other times it could represent how striking a person looks. “She’s got personality – style, personality – walk, personality – talk, personality” is part of an oldie but goodie classic that dates back to 1959. Lloyd Price’s Personality was a record selling hit and the term personality itself is as popular a topic of interest today in the scientific world. The definition of personality has been argued among many theorists within different disciplines since the beginning of civilization. The word personality originates from the Latin word persona that means mask. Although there are many discussions of the definition of personality, personality is defined as a dynamic and organized set of characteristics possessed by an individual. These characteristics uniquely influence the individual’s interaction within the environment he or she inhabits (Cherry, K, 2012). When many people speak of personality some folks will see things as they are while others will see things as they can be the potential of that subject. It is good to know that personality is important to being grateful that people can make their own choices and have their own mind to think for themselves, which makes up their own personalities. Everyone is different, in their beliefs, morals, values, advantages and disadvantages, different blessings, and different struggles, meaning people should respect and care for others.
