II. Main Point #2: Credit is important because it can often dictate what we can and can’t have. A. Subpoint: Good credit can help us with purchasing a new vehicle with a loan at a low interest rate. We can qualify for credit cards at low rates and no fees. Purchase things that otherwise we couldn’t pay with cash because of the higher cost.
I would have some difficulty ordering the parts possibly which could delay the repair but it would eventually get fixed and possibly much cheaper than calling a repair man. Conclusion: Using the creative process enabled me to isolate the problem and develop two possible solutions. After discussing the solutions with my wife we agreed that calling a repair man was the best decision because time is more important than the possibility of saving a few dollars. By using the creative process I have opened my mind to numerous ideas and developed two viable solutions. If I did not used the creative process, I may have overlooked the obvious problem and just replaced the refridgerator which would cost me lots of money.
Just a couple years ago it used to be that the retirement is being free from work and just kicking back relaxing. Now, retirement has turned into a headache of financial problems, housing issue and questioning whether or not if they should return back to work. Retiring is a somewhat a rite of passage for older adults. It can either be a good or bad experience. It's always a good experience when the person is financially stable and had a roof over their heads.
The money being used to make pennies could be made for other, more useful, things such as buying supplies for schools or helping the homeless. With the cost of penny making going up, the price of everything else has gone up along with it. Because of the growing and evolving economy, no longer does something cost a penny (Source C). Due to the inconvenience, most cashiers become frustrated when someone tries to pay for something with pennies. Although, by eliminating the penny, prices would either have to rounded up or down, but this could be a “win-win” for both the consumer and the corporate businesses.
It makes no sense some of the things the US spends money on when we have children living in extreme poverty. It is time to take care of our own people and stop worrying about fighting another nations battles spending money protect them instead of protecting our children. Child poverty is expensive and would be cheaper for us to eliminate it by improving wages for families to make a better
Income is an important area of budgeting, this because without income there is no money to work within. It is necessary to raise the amount of income that is available for the budget. To do this the business could sell more products or raising prices. If costs are higher but income is not increased then this means that the profits will be affected. A business with a proper budget should be able to pay its expenses and keep
These overall improvements have been a step in the right direction for Lowes’ future. These improvements however do cost money but like every good business man or woman knows to make money you sometimes have to spend it. I believe that while paying taxes may seem burdensome, it is actually beneficial in the long run. Taxes provide citizens with services that they are unable to obtain on their own. When we pay monthly taxes, the government provides security and protection for our futures. For example, the United States’ system of social security and other social welfare programs offers citizens a sense of security and government assistance in the event of old age, retirement, unemployment, and in extreme cases of poverty. Without taxes, individual citizens are required to provide for themselves in a time of unforeseeable hardship.
The local economy and the global forces and economic pressures have affected people’s prospects in achieving a rich lifestyle and rely heavily on government entitlements and programs which so many criticize as going in the wrong direction. But in reality, entitlements like Medicaid, food assistance (SNAP), Medicare and Social Security have helped so many Americans survive through these hard times, although many of these programs do not form part of the American Dream in many minds. In the past many Americans depended on manufacturing jobs for their livelihood. When they got a job, there was a great amount of certainty that they could rely on it to progress and sustain a healthy lifestyle for their family to buy a home, car and everything that came with it. Today those jobs have gone to other developing nations who can afford to hire employees at low wage.
There are so many answers to this question (i.e. take on another job, Go to or go back to college, or seek public assistances etc.) all that is an excellent answer, but it is hard to do, especially if a single parent cannot be there for their kid(s) if they take on another job(s) they will spend all their time at work to support their kid(s); or some people cannot go to or back to college because their multiple job requires them to work long hours and if they seek help from the government it is so much they can do considering the economy crisis. That is why it is important to increase the minimum wages so they won’t sacrifice their time with time away from their family and could enroll in or go back to school/college to earn their GED or degree so they could have better paying job. With the increased of pay, low and middle classes don’t have to worry to make any sacrificing the essentials that they or their family need; According to Time for a Raise, “If the minimum wage was increased to a level at which families could sustain themselves, fewer people may end up needing government assistance for housing, food, or health care.
