The first word that comes to mind when I hear “Rutgers University” is variety. Variety of people, cultures, and experiences. Being part of such a thriving community would be a beneficial blessing and privilege. I believe that Rutgers will not only equip me with knowledge, but also inspire me with the different perspectives of it‘s diverse student body. In such a miscellaneous and free university, I will be filled with passion and energy to both my study and life. I also believe that I can truly express my individuality at this university, and hope to bring something new to the Scarlet Knight table.
I believe that a diverse student body helps enrich a university’s campus. Interacting with people who are exactly like me and share my same beliefs and interests can get boring. Being able to converse with others of different backgrounds and/or cultures will enlighten my perspective and expand the possibility for knowledge. Having these different insights and being able to access many dissimilar opinions on certain situations can be very beneficial to my future. As a future employer, I will be dealing with many different types of people, and being exploited to an assortment of people during my college years will better help prepare me for my future.

The feeling a person obtains after performing an act of service is like that of no other.
