Rules, the Integral Part of What Makes a Civilized Society

Family And Mosque; The Places Which Influence Me The Most Rules are the integral part of what makes a civilized society function properly, and are the boundaries that govern individuals in that society. Without them, one could do anything one wished to, which included murder, rape, theft, etc. Every institution has a set of rules that its individuals must adhere, and follow, which influences the actions they take in the society they live in. My family, and the mosque; are the two institutions that play an important role in my life. In my perspective, by staying in the boundaries, and following the rules of these institutions; influences me in making right decisions through which I’m able to create a world of my own. In my family, my parents are the ones that make the rules which are applied equally to all members of the family; to help us have a sense of unity, and shared responsibility. We are a family of six (me, my three sisters, and my parents), and we all work together to go the chores around the house, such as taking turns mowing the lawn. This helps us realise that we all have to work together to keep the house function properly, and by dividing the work, everyone is treated equally. Rules help determine the roles that each member of the family plays. These rules are not just made by my parents’ input, but the children can also alter or put some changes in the rules. Some of the rules that are made are not applied to all; they are specifically made for each individual member of the family. For example, my dad and I are the ones who do repair and maintenance of the house when needed to do so, while my mom and my three sisters are the ones who prepare the daily meals. This is so, because it is harder for me and my dad to cook a meal that is suitable for eating (but we can cook simple meals for example, a fried egg, etc). While my mom and my sisters don’t
