Jesse is wild and the most out of controlled character. The title “Born to Be Wild” goes with Jesse, he does things without thought. Throughout the story he didn’t really show any shyness or sympathy for anything. He committed many crimes which wasn’t a usually thing in Calamus. Right away in the beginning of the song it says “Get your motor runnin'.Head out on the highway. Looking for adventure. In whatever comes our way”, that’s how Jesse is. He looks for an adventure anywhere he can. Paying attention to the lyrics and knowing how Jesse is, you can see how the song relates to him.

The song says “ But in the end everyone ends up alone Losing her, the only one who's ever known Who I am, who I'm not and who I wanna be No way to know how long she will be next to me”. Listening to the song you can come to a conclusion that Jesse really did mean a lot to Wade. Jesse was the main person that knew Wade the best
