However, his classmates are just focus on their studies. * Branson started his business not only emotional but rational. He didn’t corporate with giant office or had a lot of board meetings just like any other company. Instead he kept each enterprise small and relies on his skills of empowering people’s ideas to fuel success. * As a leader, Branson did a good job both on leadership and management. He always has long-term and short-term view. He is innovative and he also accepts his followers excellent ideas. * Branson is the person who is dare to challenge. He attempted to break world speed records for crossing the Atlantic Ocean by boat and by hot air balloon. This personality is required to a leader. Question 2 * Branson has a lot of In-group followers because he is always willing to accept their innovative ideas. And the followers have high levels of loyalty to him. They have very close relationship. * Branson wins his followers trust because he relies heavily on the creativity of his staff. He made a spot on the Virgin Web site called “Got a Big Idea”. He is more a supporter of new ideas than a creator of them. He encourages his followers to search for new business ideas. * Branson are willing to take his employee’s good idea into action. For example, a Virgin Airlines flight’s attendant suggested that they can offer some service for wedding. * He hired the employee who he was familiar with. For example, he engage his classmates to work with his magazine Student. Those people were the person he met in everyday. They were familiar with each and can be trust.
