Review on lion king Lion king was an animated movie with the main theme being “circle of life”. It was about a king lion who had a cub that wanted to explore and the king didn’t know the brother hated him and wanted to kill his son so that he could inherit the throne. The king’s brother had alibis that were hyenas. He plotted with the hyenas to kill the king and his son. The son once disobeyed his father and wandered to a forbidden place outside the land which was called pride rock. He was saved by his dad from the hands of the hyenas. Mufasa who was the king died in a stampede that was caused by his brother Scar. Scar ended up becoming king and used Simba’s ignorance to get him away from the land telling him that it was him who killed his father. Simba wandered off to a very far away land where he was met by two friends, Timon and Pumba. They helped him and took him in. he lived with them for a long time withholding his identity from them. They lived with the motto “hakuna matata”-no worries. One day they were greeted by the presence of simba’s best friend nala who had gone away from pride rock to look for simba. They both returned to pride rock to defend their homeland and this was when simba found out that it was his uncle who killed his father.one of the main characters I had forgotten to mention was the monkey Rafiki.
