Answer: Organizational Behaviour is systematic approach and careful application of knowledge about how employee performs as individual and as group at particular situation within the organization. Employees and employers are both working towards vision and mission of the organization. There are various approaches to study the complex human behaviour in the organization. It is a mixed field of various psychological and sociological concepts; various approaches have been developed for managerial analysis. Various approaches to study Organizational Behaviour * Leadership * Group * Communication * Behavioural ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- The most commonly applied approaches are, such as the Maslow's leadership approach. As we begin to understand the importance of leaders and their role in an organization, the study of leadership approaches assumes greater importance. Selecting a good leader is possible only if you understand the qualities and the strategies that a good leader needs to adopt. ------------------------------------------------- Since organizational behaviour is concerned mainly with interpersonal relationships, communication or the lack of it, is being studied in great depth. Effective communication has become an influential tool in the overall running of any organization. ------------------------------------------------- Group approaches are also an important component of any organizational behaviour study. The dynamics of group behaviour and of the formation and cohesiveness of any group need to be understood and implemented well, in order to achieve a harmonious working environment.
