RESPECT FOR ALL RELIGIONS “We have enough religion to make us hate, but not enough to make us love one another.” -Jonathan Swift Above is a very frank declaration made by the famous writer Jonathan Swift? But the present generation will definitely take up the responsibility of creating such a religion to help people to love one another. That religion will be of love and respect towards all. The term “religion” refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction. “Religion” is sometimes used interchangeably with” Faith” or “Belief system,” but it is more socially defined than personal convictions, and it entails specific behaviours, respectively. A religion is an organized approach to human spirituality which usually encompasses a set of narratives ,symbols , beliefs and practices , often with a supernatural or transcendent quality , that give meaning to the practitioner`s experiences of life through reference to a higher power or truth . It may be expressed through prayer, ritual, meditation, music and art, among other things. For centuries together, people belonging to various religions have lives together in harmony in our country. People belonging to different religious may live together in a society and be justly proud of their own religious. Religions tolerance is not religious indifference. It consists of valuing the right of another person. To simply be tolerant doesn`t feel too good. We should have a deep sense of appreciation of people different from us.
