Money is not only thing that can make someone happy; it’s the littlest things that can bright up someone’s life, which is what the author shows in I am the Messenger. The desire for prosperity in The Great Gatsby contradicts to the quality of a good human being, which the author expresses. Zubair Abedin Block 4 The theme of the story Fahrenheit 451 written by Ray Bradbury is censorship. They live in the future where books are banned and the people are uneducated. If people have books in there possession then they’re in danger of getting in trouble by the authority. The main character of this book is Guy Montag who is a fireman, but in the future firemen start fires instead of putting them out, they start the fires in places that have books in them. Government should not be able to make personal decisions for society because it disrupts lifestyles and ultimately does not benefit people.

David had a good relationship with Uncle Axel, Aunt Harriet and Mrs.Wender. In the novel “The Chrysalids”, David experiences “mother like” relationship. Firstly, Sophie’s mother is one of the people in the story that is mother-like to David and they have a good relationship with one another. First, when Mrs.Wender tells David that he is a good boy, no one has not ever told him that.
He illustrates and expresses his love and friendship with Liesel by comparing their dreams with each other as they have both have this in common. It also allows Max to ‘understand that the best standover man I’ve known isn’t a man at all...’, so his friendship with Liesel helps him uncover things he wouldn’t have been able to without her. Furthermore, the message that Zusak is trying send is that friendships can still be made no matter what the circumstances are. In the novel, Zusak shows that regardless of the cruelty and brutality of humanity, beauty can always overcome it somehow.
