Question of the Essay: By examining and citing historical and recent examples of domestic and global instability, justify the political science of Religion?

        The political Science of Religion can be defined as one of the earliest disciplines in the political sciences that deal with the study of influences that religion has on politics. Many believe that religion was invented in the first place to have a greater control over politics [1]. Around the world many religious beliefs are introduced to civilians to separate nations in a single country to form a new government [1]. Moreover, when political ideologies are caught up with religious beliefs the end results of such are always the start of a war, genocide and conflicts among nations within a country [2]. The basic laws of a country are mostly originated from religious myths [3]. Around the world many new laws were/are being introduced after the September 11 attack to fight terrorism which took a whole new turn for the world to miss understand a religion which some may also believe that it is only a political deception to have a greater control over the world [4].

        In some ways religious beliefs can also be used to govern a country in a peaceful way that can bring nations together [3]. Many politicians have tried to overcome conflicts between ethnicities by using religious myths and also use it as a weapon to over throw slavery in many places around the world [3]. In the old days religion was also used to create a civilized society which would benefit the government economically and internationally [4]. In ancient days the kings/empires would force the civilians to practice a certain religion at home which would describe how a country should be govern and by doing so it would bring nations close together [4].
