Brittany Bishop| Reflection Paper | THEOLOGY 104 | | | 10/31/2011 | | INTRODUCTION Page 1 I have learned many new things about Christianity throughout the course of this theology class. I have grown spiritually through the teachings in this class and feel somehow closer to Christ in my walk with Him. I have become more confident in my evangelism. I have also matured in my understanding of His Word. The material required for this class really helped me in understanding what Christianity is all about, plus it was a very good book as well! In this paper I will be talking a little about some of the things I have learned including whether or not it matters how a Christian acts in their life, what my local church could do to better communicate God’s love to my community, and why people’s personal testimonies are vital in sharing the gospel. The first thing I would like to talk about is whether or not it matters how a Christian acts in their life. As human beings we are all sinners and none of us are perfect. According to scripture “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. This scripture is saying we have all sinned against God, we all make mistakes and fall short of what God expects from us but He still shows us grace and mercy through His Son Jesus Christ! That does not mean we have a license to sin it just shows Gods amazing love for us! We should still strive to be “Christ-Like” in every aspect of our lives as to not allow another to stumble on our account. The bible also states “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” Genesis 1:27. With that being said, since God made us in his image we need to act in this world as He would act. You also have to think of the nonbelievers as well.
