Justified recommendations that could improve the validity of the research that was carried out for Crunchy Nut Bites: Despite all the detailed research done by Kellogg’s to improve the product extension Crunchy Nut Bites, one can always make improvements regarding the validity of the research that was carried out. The following are some recommendations of what could be done to improve the validity of the research: The first recommendation of what could be done to improve the research is to ensure that there is cooperation between Kellogg’s management and the research agency that is conducting the research. Kellogg’s management and the research agency have to work hand in hand during the whole process of the research to ensure that the best results are achieved from the research. Both the researcher and the management have to agree on the problem present, which in our case is how to make a successful product extension. The management and the researcher also have to agree on the time and money given to conduct the research. If Kellogg’s management wants detailed, reliable and efficient data, they have to provide a large amount of money and allow a long period of time for the research to be done. For better cooperation, the research agency has to provide a detailed report about the research done on the problem; however, the report has to be understandable by the management so that they can act efficiently. The main advantage of having cooperation between Kellogg’s management and the research agency is that both parties will work and strive towards achieving the best results out of the research done, and that the research is done in the most detailed and efficient way possible.
