My long term goals are: To follow my dream, to own my own home and to meet a positive companion. These are goals I intend to achieve in the next couple of years. In order to succeed academically I have to stay focused at home and in school. By managing how much television I watch per day and limiting how often I hangout , it will give me more time to study and increase my chances of receiving all my credits and passing each semester. Completing my homework without procrastinating and using my resources such as my teachers when I need help are methods I use to accomplish this short term goal.
Why I am in college, and my last English experiences There are many of reasons why I’m in college, and my last English experience is not what I expected it to be. Obviously everyone goes to college to get some type of degree. I’m planning on getting a bachelor’s degree in radiology and maybe extend the career on the way through the years. I’m the type of person that enjoys learning about the human body and how it works. I want to be able to have a good career and succeed in life.
The reading gives him other eyes to see the world, the goal that will change his life, came back to college where he became a dedicated student. That he finish college for be someone in life and for love of his family. Response: In the reading of “A Change of Attitude” by Grant Berry, I wonder if everyone passes by the same situations where reading is not a luxury is a necessity that everyone need to be someone in life and reach our goals. Where high school is not the end of our education is the preparation for college. Like Berry, who decide to continue college and never said that you can’t, that nothing is impossible in this life just the death.
Earning my degree online would be great for me so I can still stay home with my children until they are school age. I learn and focus better at my
The H.O.P.E. club went on a field trip to Grand Canyon University for Medical Sciences and Nurses day. This day probably changed not only my future, but probably my life. At GCU (Grand Canyon University) they had a presentation on Medical Technology and the careers related to it and let me tell you one thing, I found my true passion.
I always wonder why I seem to leak learning things. The answer to that was known two people learn the same and it is up to you to process the information and get the help you need. My dream was to return back to school and get my degree, short term goal that I know that I can achieve. When you are a single mother there shouldn’t be any limits to the things you need to achieve in life. Don’t wait go back to school you are never too old to return to school.
The importance about having a higher education is very important to me especially when I see all that my parents have gone through since neither of them got the chance to go to college. Therefore I see myself working really hard to try to achieve that goal in getting accepted to this college and strive to get a major in psychology, criminal justice or nursing. My future plans other than having my own family is to graduate college and have a stable job that’ll help me financially to be stable and not be in debt. Hopefully after you reading this, I hope to have captured your attention and help me achieve my goal in getting in this college because I am a honorable, responsible, trustworthy, respectful young lady that’s going to strive to become somebody and I know you won’t regret your choice in accepting
As a student preparing to begin my college career, Malala’s struggle has inspired me in many ways. Malala’s struggle inspired me to appreciate the opportunity to receive an education without being subjected to gender discrimination. I feel that any female who is given the opportunity to enhance their skills should. In other countries, females are prohibited from doing a lot of things the United States allows. Malala also stated, “I don’t want to be thought of as the girl who was shot by the Taliban, but the girl who fought for education.” This is the cause to which I want to devote my life.” Malala never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her.
The financial conditions of my home did not allow me to go for a bachelor’s degree at that time as it was very expensive as we all were in nursing school at the same time. So I decided to go for my Associate Degree first and then move on. Marriage, relocation to USA, kids and so forth and on, pushed my BSN degree this far. Although being a nursing student was a bit of a challenge, the strong determination in my mind pulled me through the course .I loved the neuro- surgical /trauma ICU the best during my clinical rotations. So soon after my graduation, the hospital gave me the choice to decide where I would like to work and I decided to go for neurosurgery.
Having a college degree will give my family security in the future so I can keep providing them the life they deserve. Let’s talk about my personal learning style. When we talk about learning styles, we usually discuss three general categories: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. The majority of people will use a mix of different learning styles but will prefer one in particular. I utilized two different online questioners from the three choices given to me, helping me understand what style I prefer or suits me better.
