Rain in My Eyes It was a rainy spring day in London. It was so silent and dark outside as if being midnight though it was still afternoon. Pigments of black had spilt on the sky; no lighter colours and no clouds were discernible. As if the rain was pouring down from the nonentity. This was a view that could be seen there quite often but still there were people, who could not just ignore it and stepped with indignation on the splashy streets of the town. But not Elizabeth. Such moments made her want to go outside and dance like a child in the middle of the street. She had actually done this a few times and she knew it was nothing but great pleasure feeling the raindrops touch her skin. So, she was not one f those typical English women; she was romantic and full of enthusiasm and energy. Unlike many people, who found rainy days bothering or Sometimes even melancholic, she didn’t know any better moment that could bring a smile to her face like rain always did. She was a beginning writer and these things she had shared in her first book ‘Rain in My Eyes’. In it she has also written that she couldn’t exactly explain what the reason to love rain so much was, but what she realized was that everyone had to find out what a beautiful power it had and how it could turn the monotonous day into a scene of a romantic movie. At least that was how it made her feel. The thing was, furthermore, that her passion for rain was so inspiring that if someone saw her smiling when it started to rain, it made them smile too. Such a lovely sight! For instance, Elizabeth’s friends Monika and Sally, who were definitely not one of those people who became emotional very easily, were so used to seeing that smiling face of their friend when weather gone bad, that it was no surprise for them that even they could feel a little smile rising at their faces when it started to rain. ‘People get used to
