There are many reasons to worry about it. This social media is hurting our society in such way that it causing harm to one’s privacy, it disseminates misinformation, and effect on student’s grade. It is clear that social media is hurting our society by putting one’s privacy and security at risk. In the article “Teens Privacy Is Threatened by Social Networking” author Peter Bazalgette said, “Can you truly delete entries from social networking sites with the confidence they no longer exist on a server somewhere? You cannot” (Bazalgette p.1).

Cyber bullying is legally defined as actions that use information and communication technologies to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior by an individual or group that is intended to harm another or others. Many bullies and witnesses don’t know how severe the effects of cyber bullying can be. People who are cyber bullied often bring harm upon themselves by cutting themselves, or even killing themselves. Studies show that over half of teens have been bullied online, and about the same number have engaged in cyber bullying. Bullying is shown in all races.
The more effective way to handle this in my opinion would be to ask Brigit to demonstrate how to complete the test and show her what she is doing incorrectly. I think Pamela should educate her and they could retest the students together. I understand it can be challenging to use assertive communication because it is a risk. The outcome can be unexpectedly negative. I think this might be why some people communicate passively because they have had a negative experience with this, and maybe it made things negative for them or changed things into a horrible situation.
You do something above and beyond there will be a reward, you do something you know you are not supposed to do and there will be a negative consequence. This instills the idea of right and wrong. It prevents them from believing every action they take in the right direction earns a reward, but also lets them know that is they fall in their behavior that they will be reprimanded for their actions. According to our text corporal punishment is the gratuitous intentional inflectional of pain on children’s bodies for the purpose of modifying behavior. When a child is being discipline it does not always have to be physical. Sometimes all it takes is for you to say their name, or speak firm to them. Some children have a history of being spanked for no reason so when they get out of the situation and get into a better one all it takes is for them to hear you raise your voice and they know. I also believe that taking things away from them is a great way of showing them that they must do what they are told.
