As the doctor, you will need to gather all the information from the patient background to find out how to diagnosis the patient as well as the treatment that is needed to help control the symptoms for the patient disorder. There is the need to become acquainted with the patient in a way that they will open up to you and expose their personal history with you as well so that you can provide them with the best help that is available. As I complete my patient analysis on my patient Joan Crawford, I will make my diagnosis from her character and since it was never stated Joan had any medical or psychiatric diagnoses that she suffered from mental illness, the information provided is speculatively based on her adoptive daughter Christina Crawford memoir of her mother, Joan Crawford. I. Identifying Information The patient name is Joan Crawford. Joan is a 55 year old Caucasian woman. Joan is a heterosexual female that loves men and picks them up just as fast as she drops them. Due to her occupation in which she started her career as a dancer and found a new love for acting in which she gave up dancing as she pursued acting, she came in contact with many men and had plenty of options to choose from. Joan resided in Los Angeles where she became famous for her career in acting. Joan is not originally from Los Angeles but seemed to adapt to her new surroundings very well, in fact to well causing her fame and fortune to impact not only her personal life but herself as well.
