Pressure to do well in school stresses kids out Stress is already a big problem that our society faces on a daily bases. Now it’s getting to the point where our kids are getting stressed out. This is due to the over whelming pressure to do better in school. Our society through the years has raised this magical bar of success, and parents have pushed our kids over it. Parents all want the best for their kids and every responsible adult knows how to get to that point. Its school, for every parent this is the ticket to having a great occupation, and a wonderful life. At the end of the day though, parents never ask themselves how the kid is taking this type of pressure. As well as what type of pressure or stress is the child dealing with? A child, kid, or teenager already goes through enough problems during the day without parents stressing them out. Adding this type of pressure to a child can hinder them greatly. Children now in days have to deal with SAT’s, ACT’s, high school exit exams, regular exams, and state testing. That is just a little bit of what a child growing up in this society has to deal with. After all that most of them go home, and now have to deal with parents asking questions after all these test. Many parents ask how did you do? Was everything ok? You know if you would study more you would have got the grade you wanted. You don’t want to end up like your brother or cousin. These are just some of the comments that come out of parent’s mouth on day to day bases. Majority of the time the parent doesn’t even realize that there saying it. Also by saying just some of these questions, or comments the parents do not realize that they are stressing there kid out. All parents want the best for their children. This is why sometimes you will see parents taking out the extra effort to either get a second job, or work around the kid’s
