Post Service Reflection.

1. It was an amazing experience for me because volunteering isn’t something I do a lot. I realized that I was smiling majority of the time because i knew I was doing something good for my self and the community. It was the right environment to be in. 2. To be honest I didn’t face that many problems when it came to what we suppose to do, pretty much everything was clear. A good way to solve any problems that your server might address you would be, to act calm and respectfully tell them what the problem is and hopefully it will be solved. When it comes to me like I said I didn’t have face any of these problems so I didn’t have to resolve any issue. The project was based on giving back to the community so it didn’t address a symptom or any root cause of problems. In fact it was the opposite. 3. My group and I volunteered at two different places. The first one was an annual 10k run and we had to stand on the streets and guide the runners, and to tell the cars to stay off the road so I think we played an important position in that for those that were running. The other day we did some gardening at IRIS residential Inns and services. The IRIS is basically a family driven, charitable, non-profit corporation established in October 1999 to provide supportive housing for those with persistent serious mental illness, so viewing those beautiful flowers every morning means a lot to them considering that they don’t leave their homes much. The only change I would suggest if I was a director, I would move the run to somewhere that provides a track to run on but other than that I thought it was just fine. In the run I was dropped off about a kilometer away so my role was supporting the runners, cheering them on, and directing traffic. But my role in the gardening place was weeding, and replacing many different plants and flowers. 4. I feel more sympathetic because it was an
