RTT1 Task 2 Jake McKee Western Governors University RTT1 Task 2 Root Cause Analysis (RCA) that led to sentinel event Root cause in this scenario appears to be a combination of things. Most significantly, staff did not safely adjust to rapidly increasing demands of their patient acuity and census. The infrastructure did not allow simultaneous monitoring of two patients in crisis. The department is at high risk of inundation, being staffed with only one RN and one LPN, one secretary, and one emergency department physician. Secondly, balance in the monitoring of high-risk patients was inadequate.
The kitchen represents a place where all the problems can be avoided for the moment. It appears that the kitchen is where you can act completely normal, such as “You never said you didn’t believe it. Why is that...He didn’t say a word. He simply picked up his fork and continued to eat...(pg 54)”. In this instance, Gail is attempting to
For example, I agree with Rose’s proposal that everyday you learn something new. It is possible to continue gaining new information but it is up to the worker or person to do so. In every situation that Rose described he explained that his mother and his uncle were keen on the idea of experiencing new people and learning how their minds worked. Both of his relatives had a passion for discovering how to better their careers and how to please their customers. It is true that employees working blue-collar jobs are stereotyped to have a lower IQ than those with actual professions; however, if a blue-collar employee does not care to further their education and does not want to learn than they will be fitting into that stereotype quite
The doctors can't accurate diagnose or understand what or why a patient is feeling a certain way, so the corrupt medical establishment gives them this nonsense to spew. These side effects are primarily phase 1 but are a constant problem across the board. Notice the root word of fibromyalgia is fib[e]r, it's not a coincidence. This Family Guy clip indirectly references
No matter rich or poor, black or white. The Great Depression had some effect on you. Studs Terkel selected a wide range of interviewees from the poor black folk that lived in “Hoovervilles” to the Americans who had little effect from the Great Depression. Why did he do this? I believe in this reasoning so Terkel could get everyone’s experience and opinion over the depression from top to bottom.
Furthermore, it shows that the lack of communication is coming through the isolation and difficulty of the foreign environment. “I cannot speak. Breathing, in this heavy air, grows more difficult. When the paralysis reaches my chest I shall die: probably tonight.” (Le Guin, 144). The environment that the protagonist is in, impacts his psyche.
Most recently Bill has used his voice to put a spotlight on Family Values in the Black community. C. His “Pound Cake” speech at the NAACP celebration anniversary of the historic Brown vs. The Board of Education decision focused directly on his opinion of certain groups within the Black community inability to uplift the community to the level envisioned by Civil Right leaders of the past. D. He has continues his efforts to promote responsible parenting among inner city low income Black Americans through his national tour of “fireside chats.” Conclusion I. With over fifty years in the public eye there is no shortage on opinions about Bill some good and some not so good.
The main reason I chose the subject of racism is mainly because my roommate had suggested the topic when I asked what I should read. He is taking an African Culture Class and mentioned to me how easy it would be to relate racism to American History because of the obstacles and struggles the African Americans endured. So I went to Barnes and Noble’s and Black Like Me was suggested from one of the intellectual bookworms. I enjoyed this book a lot and thought that Griffin’s strategy to discovering the truth was very creative and intelligent. I can just imagine what it would be like to be degraded because of your skin color.
African American Life in History Segregation in the world of Medicine helped to produce the Tuskegee Syphilis study. The study is an example of that segregation towards African Americans during the early to mid 1900s. As a result of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, many African Americans lost their lives due to the misconduct of doctors. To this date African American will not participate in clinical trials, due to the outcome of the Tuskegee Syphilis study. Dr. Vanessa Northington Gamble, a physician and, medical historian, also the author of the Tuskegee Lesson, spent time speaking with Mr. Herman Shaw one of the survivors of the study.
The main rules on parenthood are to raise your children to be respectful, diligent, mindful, and grateful human beings. However, we lack all those traits by teaching our children the wrong things or them not having one of their parents involved in their lives. African American males sometimes set bad examples for their kids by teaching them what their father taught them when they were little. Most black fathers teach their kids to have hate towards woman and to be the alpha male in the relationship. Also, the children listen to their fathers talk about how many woman they use to have and how girls are all the same.
