Imagine yourself in a bright square room with a single window looking out into a glorious city - the kind of room you may imagine in the future not far a away from us. You walk to one corner of the room where a shower head slides out of the wall and an invisible force field of some sort blocks the water from spraying everywhere. The moment you step out of the corner your entire body is dried by the body drier. You turn towards the wall and a mirror appears with robotic arms that begin to groom you. You walk towards the window in the room, and a chair slides up and you sit. Instantly a table pops up with a breakfast of pills. You put the pills in your mouth and swallow. These pill’s tastes the same as your breakfast but simpler to eat. A 3D news report appears and you know it’s 7:30am. Looking at the 3D that image you notice the image looks very familiar. As you flip through the channels, you notice that all the people in all the channels look the same making you think “What’s going on? Who are all these people that look like me?” Being very confused, questions continuously come to up your mind. “Does everyone in this future world look like me? Do I want to be the same as millions of other people? Am I a CLONE?” Even though clones may help in scientific research people are meant to be unique, have free thought, and should not be made by other human beings, most likely to make a mistake. Cloning goes against the love of family, many beliefs, and the risk and danger of failure is too high for us to attempt to ‘play God.’

Reproductive cloning destroys family integrity and society’s view of children. The term ‘family’ is defined as “The group comprising a husband and wife and their dependent children, constituting a fundamental unit in the organization of society” (ardictionary.com, 4.11.09).
