Normally during the last few days of school, kids put aside their work because they are excited for school to be done with. When they do that, they start getting low grades. Kids usually don't listen at this time of year. Without kids building up with excitement, they would been good leaders through the years. If kids have year-round school, they probably would keep their grades.
The recurring intervals between school sessions are perfect for either educational remediation or enrichment, depending on the student. Thousands of students sit in classes each day that do not fit their needs. The classes are either extremely difficult, and their grades suffer, or they are a breeze, an A requiring minimum effort. Whichever the case, school isn’t doing anything for them. Many times, unfortunately, this situation lasts for the entire 180-day school year.
When you were a teenager, how often did you find yourself sleepy during school? How often did you fall asleep during class? Research probes that if schools had later start times kids would be more alert during the day, grades would improve, behavior would improve, and there will be less tardiness. Lets face it, most teenagers usually go to bed late, meaning they wake up late for school, and then result in tardiness. Constantly being for the same class, students begin to fail, and who wouldn't be upset from that?
Students can experience a more beneficial learning environment by having a longer school day. High schoolers in particular should always be learning and wanting to approach more opportunities. Also, having a better learning experience means having no stress from being really tired. When you are stressed, it can make you distracted and unfocused on your studies. If kids miss a day it will result in missing out on learning new things and they would need to make work up.
Districts often stagger the start times of different schools in order to reduce transportation costs by using fewer buses. But if beginning the school day early in the morning has a negative impact on academic performance, staggering start times may not be worth the cost savings, as said by, Dr. Finley Green. I say that the school time is great the way it is. My reasons are that I’d rather be home an hour earlier to get rest and have time to finish any school or house chores or watch my little sister, and my last reason is because I want to have time to have fun with my friends when I am finished with my priorities. I think school should not start early and stay the way it is because, as soon as I get out of school, I need to go straight home and finish my homework while helping my little sister with hers.
Should colleges provide on-site daycare facilities for their students? Many people who go to college find it very difficult to get good day care service for their children. Many students have one to three small children who are below the public school age and must have constant care. I find to assist students with childcare issues; colleges should provide on-site daycare facilities for their students. If colleges provide on-site daycare facilities for their students it will allow them to concentrate fully on their work, reduce the number of students missing class or absenteeism, and retention rates will increase or the dropout rate will reduce.
* Schools are more cost-effective per student by the efficient use of the facility, textbooks, and supplies. * Many students and teachers report that more frequent breaks allow them to return to school more refreshed and with greater energy and improved morale. * Some school districts report vandalism, discipline referrals and absenteeism for students, as well as teachers, has been reduced because of the year-round schedule. * How does a year round school work? * Students in a year-round school are divided into multiple tracks with each track having a different starting and ending date.
Kids to get tired and some can not focus for six whole hours straight. With online, of course you have to do six hours but you can do it whenever. It allows you to take breaks between when they get exhausted. Finally important, I suggest that summer school online is good due to doing it by you inedepently. Yes, of course you have your meetings and test to go do inside the school lab, but you still have your independence.
The thing is this doesn’t go on in every other grade school; those other kids that don’t get this option are stuck. They are just given their homework every day and they have to go through the same routine without the 8th grade partner. This type of help builds on the civil literacy, it helps the young 1st grader mature more at a young age and be able to do some of the stuff the 8th graders do because they set good examples around the little
Year round school runs on a system where students go to school for a month and then get a week off and repeat. The common myth about year round schooling is that a student have to go to school for more than 180 days. In reality year round schooling is just as long as traditional schooling. SOLUTIONS A reason for year round school is that it is more fiscally efficient. Since year round schooling has one group of students that are on vacation for a week while the rest of school is in secession, it allows for class room space to be used more and a single teacher would Evers # be able to teach more students because of the way that year round schooling is set up.
