CONCLUSION Being put in a team to do assignments can be very hard for some people because they may like to work alone. But if you think about it if you work in a team you can get the work done in half the time. It won’t put a strain on you worrying how can you get the work done, knowing you have to work and do other day to day things. As long as you designate who is going to be the leader and do what the leader tells you or ask you to do, the team will be fine. Just think how exciting your paper will be with all the other ideas, they may think of things you had no idea even existed.
A team environment can boost the confidence of individuals, allowing them to do their best work. The more people work together, the more they learn and become better workers in their own jobs. The employees will have a greater sense of belonging and recognition, which will help them take pride in their work. Communication affects relationships in a work setting, if I communicate well with my colleagues building trust and understanding between us it makes it easier to get things done. Working as part of a team I work alongside my colleagues and we share the work load. Building a good relationship with colleagues means we will co-operate with each other and trust develops between us. If we don’t communicate well in our workplace, it would make your work harder, stop you wanting to go to work and the atmosphere wouldn’t be nice. Having a good relationship with your colleagues, manager and the service users would make you and everyone around you much happier and help everything on a daily basis go smoother.
1.1 UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE AND BENEFITS OF RESPECTING AND SUPORTING OTHER PEOPLE AT WORK. Through respecting and supporting other colleagues, it will benefit both yourself and work colleagues. For instance, it will allow both parties to learn, improve and progress further with their understanding of the position. Working in a team environment means that you have the opportunity to get involved and contribute to those around you, thus improving the standard of work produced. This will be due to the learning involved from working with others.
1.1) The purpose is to become a better all rounded employee for the company thus benefiting the company with better output from yourself. The benefits of improving own performance is not only do you become a creditable asset to the company but you also become a better credit to yourself. Another benefit is that with continuously improving own performance the skills you learn will make every day to day work easier and result in getting work done quicker with less stress. If you’re always learning new skills it makes it easier to adapt to an ever changing business environment. 1.2) Feedback comes in all different way but are almost always positive in some way.
Happy and satisfied employees’ decreases the turnover rate within the office and also keeps the moral high. Continuing this shows the high level executives that the General Manager is doing well and optimizing his ability to lead. It is also important for an organization to work as a team. The general manager must know how to execute and communicate the same common goal to different groups. This is very difficult because in order for the team to feel as equally passionate about the common goal, the manager must communicate the goal in a way that makes each employee feel they are doing their part individually to achieve the common goal.
I need to be able to counsel the employees in the correct behavior and follow up with them to be sure they are continuing to improve. The employees who work in our factory are not paid well. They work long hours and are on their feet all day. It can become very easy for them act out against each other, against their managers, and to not have a good work ethic. I am happy to be able to take the time to spend with these employees and brainstorm ways that we can make their days better for them.
I will be able to surround myself with positive people who give me the confidence and optimism to keep moving forward in my life. I will be able to weed out the people that put out negative vibes. I also know that owning my own business is a very risky proposition. At the same time I know that with risk comes reward. A lot of people thrive on the routine of their job, performing the same tasks day after day.
