Just thinking about the skinning of an animal terrifies me, but it saddens me more to know that there are people in the world that can kill animals just for the profit that it can bring to them. When an animal is captured, it is put through unbelievable pain. It sometimes drives the animal to tear through its own flesh and bone, sometimes the animal even loose teeth because they bite on the trap. Sometimes the animals are left suffering for hours before the hunters show up to kill the animal by stumping on the animal. This type of animal cruelty is legal for people with a license to hunt, but for those who are not legalized hunters can face many years in prison and be fined thousands of dollars.
The extinction of animals will cause more of what they eat this can affect humans by more humans being bite by mosquitoes. The mosquitoes population will increase and anything else that they eat. The recovery and preservation of these animals is complicated because many people do not care about these animals and what it does to them when we destroy their homes, places that they feel safe at.
If you annoy gila monsters they grab you and not do let go. The gila monster hunts down its food by injecting poison into it. The gila monster’s life span is about 20 years. The gila monster is endangered. Gila monsters don’t have any predators because their poison scares them away.
This makes for a very bad situation for any other animal, including humans who venture too close. This made them very vulnerable as I come to find out after a couple of black rhinos were killed for their horns. They will stand their ground rather than run away. Now looking back at those days I started doing some research as to why they kill rhinos for their horns. It turns out that they believe the horns have medicinal and magical healing power.
I am very much against foxhunting because I think it is a cruel and unnecessary. Foxhunters kill foxes only for ‘sport’ and amusement, and because of the exhaustion, terror and trauma inflicted on the victim, the death of the fox itself, is violent and painful. Foxhunters argue that foxes are pests and their numbers need to be controlled. They say that even controlled fox populations still cause problems. A survey financed by the Countryside Alliance showed that in spite of control, 30% of farmers had experienced significant losses from foxes in the preceding twelve months.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Fear always springs from ignorance.” Fear is always present in one’s longevity if he or she lacks knowledge of the word itself, which means if you lack knowledge of something, you will always be intimidated until an action is taken to triumph over your anxiety. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee and The Crucible by Arthur Miller recognized this quote as a true statement and I agree to the contribution made by these authors in validating the quote. In To Kill A Mockingbird, Harper Lee symbolized Jem and Scout as character with fear and innocence . Jem and Scout were always intimidated by Boo Radley because of the stories they heard about him, they believed he is a malevolent phantom who eat squirrels and
Many neighbors of Dahmer suspected him of frequently killing animals as a child. Obviously, Dahmer did not have idealistic parents. Perhaps, if Dahmer had parents who were concerned of his behavior, he could have been treated for his illness at an early age before any humans were harmed later on in his life. Jeffrey Dahmer can easily be considered that of an introvert. The definition of introvert was first coined by popular psychologist, Carl Jung.
“He's an animal! No he's worse! Not even animals rape and kill their own kind!” This made me angry because everyone deserves to be treated as a human even if they have committed a crime because they are still human and no crime committed can change that. “Dead Man Walking” also made me feel sad because I know it's hard for parents to lose their children and we see how painful it is for Matthew's mother to deal with the fact that Matthew is going to be killed when the court announces that Matthew will be executed as originally planned and she breaks down and starts crying. This reminds me of the time my dad told me how my cousin was killed by a drunk driver, I can not even begin to imagining how painful it must have been for my aunt and uncle to lose their son that day.
Children can also get mental problems because of spanking such as killing themselves. Children start to think about why they were born and asking themselves if they should live in a world where they just get spanked all the time. Therefore, parents who spank their children should change their minds about spanking their children. Spanking children is not a good way to discipline them because children will have bad relationships with parents and other people. For example, children who are usually spanked by their parents have problems with them because of spanking, so children will become more aggressive with other people who are around them.
Anthony G. Perez Assignment 1 Fear of Snakes I have always been afraid of snakes. Just looking or thinking about them makes me feel so Uneasy, on edge and my skin begins to curl. I think this is maybe due to the depiction of snakes being portrayed as dangerous and evil. To me a snake is a snake and it doesn’t matter how big, small, are the color, and or if they are poisonous are not. They still scare the living hell out of me.
