Describe the potential effects of discrimination There are many effects of discrimination, it can have a great effect on a individuals physical development, they may have a very low self-esteem which could lead to suicide, self-harming, or if they are being bullied physically their bodies will suffer from bruising and cuts. It can affect their diet leading to poor eating habits resulting in health issues. Emotionally individuals can suffer from trauma. They may begin to lose self-worth and don’t believe in themselves so they give up or start to believe what others are saying.
