For example, the most effective method would be, to respect the students and their feelings before they can respect you. Dr. Michaels stated that, “You will gain respect by knowing the emotional, physical, and psychological place of your students. “Show that you care.” This all leads back to students wanting to know that their teacher not only cares about their education but them as an individual. As an after school instructor, I have dealt with many cases where a students didn’t feel like they had to show me respect right off the bat. Which is something that I can understand, because children don’t really comprehend the importance of respect or manners, its something that has to be taught to them.
1.1. Explain why effective communication is important in developing positive relationships with children, young people and adults. Communication is important in developing relationships with children and young people because having positive relationships with the people we interact with makes our daily lives easier and more productive. In an educational environment maintaining positive relationships opens up opportunities for good communication, it gives us confidence in our ability and an understanding of our environment. Accepting shared responsibility by knowing what our role is and what’s expected of us is very important, following recognised procedure and understanding shared values all promote good relationships.
Most students try to avoid being lectured or get in trouble for something they can avoid. This is definitely extrinsic motivation that in turn create intrinsic motivation. Also, being able to see others students succeed around them can also motivate. If I don't care about my homework but I see that my friends do, I might be more likely to start caring about it
This is why focusing on more than friends and partying will help you work towards your future lifestyle goals, but education is the main component out of all. 1 wrong decision can not only affect you, it affects your family and community. You can’t trust everyone, and can’t depend on just anyone. Not everyone is your friend and most are quick to get you in trouble or bail on you when you’re facing it. Friends become distractions that take us away from focusing on school and other goals in life.
I guess this goes to show that some people really take social norms to an extreme extent to where they do not actually think about it but when someone does it they want to get away from that person. Overall I think that this project was a lot of fun, and I might even do it again if I absolutley had to but thankfully I don’t becuase I was very
She says that being in charge of consequences for anything from bad behavior to failing to finish chores is making sure that her kids are in control. I agree with this, because my parents control me for the same reasons. I think it is absolutely okay to think of not giving up parental control when it is required most of the time. She also thinks that making sure that the kids are slightly afraid of you as a parent and know the guidelines at home, the better they will think and act. Again that is how my parents worked with me when I was in Elementary School.
Though still the studying between us did not reflect the grades I was earning. I knew what I was doing and I was not being honest with myself, I kept acting as a victim and also having a battle with my Inner critic and defender. During my study time with my friend it would take my mind off things but when I got home I would attempt to study but then go back to my ways and thought how this guy took a part of me and I could not have that any longer. Luckily I was also taking a Success 101 class which at first I found as a pointless course until one day a surprising
We could make more effective plans for their care and education whilst monitoring there welfare to show their skills and ideas. It is always important to have positive relationships because if we didn't there could be a danger that information could be withheld or passed on incorrectly this could result in the child not being given the support they require ending up in a delayed development . In our setting we must always create a good working relationship as it benefits all children and everyone involved, good relationships always create a positive environment where children can settle and relax easily. If we can build good relationships with every parent this is always a positive thing as parents will share information easier and take an interest in what their child is learning. It always helps to have good positive relationships with all staff as we can support each other and enjoy our
Learning to how to listen is a core; it should be a part of children’s education. If people know how to listen to the other people, it will help people have a good communication with other people. In the workplace, listening to the people it is means to respect to the other people. With the economy developing, more and more people don’t care how much the food and they always waste food. Because parents love their children, they allow their children waste food and they always satisfy what their children want to eat and don’t want to eat.
It is not that they demand too much from their kids but they expect too little. Parents try so hard to provide their children’s needs to make them happy and become their kid’s best friend that they forget about being a real parent. A parent who knows what is best for their child should not be afraid to say “no”, “The mistake that many parents make today is not that they’re too strict but rather too lenient”. They should discipline and set limits to consumption and teach their children the value of a
