Dave is a Dominance style personality. “People with the dominant personality type tend to make quick decisions, are very results-oriented, are direct and straight-forward, and often display a high level of initiative and energy” (Slowikowski, 2005, p. 836). Dominance styles are also risk takers that like to explore new things (). Daniel’s motivation plan includes having him to participate in teams where he is not the lead. His high energy and initiative is beneficial in driving projects forward and keeping them on schedule, but taking the back seat once in a while will help Daniel to be more open to the opinions of others.

Teams also have individual roles, responsibilties, and tasks. The difference is the team often share and rotate tasks. And the difference that finally helped me make what I feel is the correct choice is that groups are only concerned with one’s own outcome and challenges while teams are concerned with everyone and the challenges the team faces (Brounstein, 2002). How do we become knowledge workers within our own organizations? Hammer (2004) suggests that we are entering an age where we will all be knowledge workers. I find some truth in that because we are always learning from our peers, our employees, and our supervisors. But it is necessary for us to know where that newfound knowledge comes from by finding its source. I am the type of person who wants to know everything and be the best at every task I perform, and doing the necessary work to identify the appropriate source of information will make that task just a bit easier.
My reaction about Daniel Pink’s, “Drive” would be, first, I think he is a good writer and a good producer. Heis good for repetitive 'algorithmic' work, showing that where wide intelligent decision-making and innovation is essential. Another is that with the many videos that I watch almost every day, I think that this is one of the most useful and beneficial videos that I watched and that will be useful in my everyday life. The contents of the video are covered well and in decent detail. I am a visual thinker and mostly like supporting diagrams, but I hoped that perhaps there could have been more unique contents in the video.

Three team members are dominant and the rest of two are of steadiness styles. Hence we have kind of balance team for a healthy working environment. The dominant ones are always ahead in leading, initiating and taking steps for solving the difficult tasks. In addition, all of them are quick and firm decision taker. The other two are of steadiness style, therefore they play a more important role to equal the team attitude.
