Are the Walls Parents Good? What do we consider as good parents? Well in my perspective I feel that good parents are ones that have love for their child. When you’re a parent you want to make sure that you are always there for your kid no matter what the situation is. Things could be going good or bad, but you always make sure that you are right there by the side.
Nobody can take away your level of effort. Another core belief that I have is to always look at the best in things no matter what. This belief helps a ton when you think that things aren't going your way. I got this belief from my parents also. My parents really believed in shaping me into a good person when i was younger.
“If there is no struggle there is no progress,” these words spoken by Fredrick Douglas, reflect the essence of my families’ motivation to stay strong and always peruse a better life. This quote is especially significant to me because it reflects my drive and passion to achieve my own dreams in life. My parents played a major role in inspiring me to help other people, and to work hard to achieve my goals; they thought me by example. I realized that I have been blessed to have the parents that I do. I deeply value what they have thought me: the strength, integrity, and compassion for others.
Building trust with parents or carers will result in them knowing that the nursery is a very good place for their child as it offers a great amount of help and support, which is especially important for new parents or carers. Other professionals It is also important to partner with other professionals as they will offer the support and services, where needed, to improve the overall development of the child. For example, a speech and language therapist may assist a child with communication difficulties. Another example would be a play therapist to diagnose, prevent or resolve a child with psychosocial challenges. Multi-disciplinary teams It is very important that everyone in a multi disciplinary team work in partnership.
We could make more effective plans for their care and education whilst monitoring there welfare to show their skills and ideas. It is always important to have positive relationships because if we didn't there could be a danger that information could be withheld or passed on incorrectly this could result in the child not being given the support they require ending up in a delayed development . In our setting we must always create a good working relationship as it benefits all children and everyone involved, good relationships always create a positive environment where children can settle and relax easily. If we can build good relationships with every parent this is always a positive thing as parents will share information easier and take an interest in what their child is learning. It always helps to have good positive relationships with all staff as we can support each other and enjoy our
Practitioners need to praise children and encourage them to succeed in their learning and give them the support they need. Practitioners need to build positive relationship with not only their key children and other children in their setting but also with the children’s parents this gives them a better chance of giving children more support at home. See appendix 1. At the setting parents can get involved and this will benefit planning for the child as parents know their children better than anyone and they will know their likes and dislikes and will be able to help them with their development. See appendix 2 .
EYMP 1 Task 2 3.1 As a trainee practitioner i need to show the knowledge and understanding of how partnership with parents is important to the success of each individual child in the setting. Promoting an effective bond between the parents and professionals, this provides a source of strength throughout their time in the setting. Consequently practitioners should be very aware that there leading role is very different in the Childs life, compared to their own parents, carers etc. Practitioners roll is to be able to show a more compassionate bond with the child. The relationship with parents/carers is the first and most important relationship in a child’s life.They need to have a strong bond or attachment to their primary carers to feel loved and secure. Parents are a childs first teachers so they build the basis for the development. It is important that the child is praised for their actions and not criticised to help build their self esteem and self worth. It is important for children and young people to have friends as they learn social skills that will be important to them throughout their lives. These skills can be vital to maintaining social relationships and help them be able to resolve conflict.
