The other factor that takes away from this album is the two rock-rap songs, (She Watch Channel Zero!? & Party For Your Right to Fight). Maybe it’s a personal bias, because I never really like when rap and rock fuse, but I totally think they are in much better form when rapping over James Brown samples. My all-time favorite song from Colbie is Bubbly. That song had me dancing and singing with her. What I did notice Colbie isn’t a dancer she is more a guitar player. I love the fact that Colbie does know how to play the guitar. It’s amazing how the artist can play and sing at the same time.
Burnside, the third characteristic that defines them as a Southern rock/blues band is their genuine love and respect for old Mississippi Delta Blues. The love can be heard in their album Hernando. “While I have always been a fan of bands who take the time to write good songs and make sure the album sounds good from a production standpoint, there's always something special about a band who makes it sound easy to some great rockers and The Allstars manage to inject all of their music with the same joyful abandon” (Homewood 1). Homewood says this because the production quality of the album isn’t an A+, but the band doesn’t seem to put production quality as a top priority; instead, the band simply loves playing their unique spin on Delta Blues music. The title of my book is Elvis: We Love You Tender. The authors of the book are Dee Presley, Billy, Rick, and David Stanley, who are all relatives of Elvis. This book is important because it’s focusing on a musical icon and a well known popular musician who changed the world of entertainment. He touched the nation with his songs and his swagger. Also shows how those close to him saw him through their eyes.
Church's ability to write songs that create feeling inside of someone; whether it is the feeling of happiness, or nostalgia, or sadness, is what I find so damn impressive. It's a completely believable connection to the songs and a seemingly unrehearsed look at who he is, where he came from and what's most important to him and his life. Some might say this album was close to crossing that "too much rock" line. Had Church been around to release it in the late 70s and early 80's with the mix of outlaw country stars of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Hank Jr, Cash, and others, he would have just been another guy in the crowd. "Lotta Boot Left To Fill" was the best song in my opinion on the album.

These hardships, including his mother’s death and a disastrous marriage, were transformed into the motivation that helped to evolve his musical thought. Generations of musicians are fortunate he continued his musical endeavors as the musical community can appreciate his struggles. His dedication and commitment are character traits I strive for in every aspect of my life. I feel influenced by each of his works whenever I perform them, and understand how difficult it must have been to create pieces of this magnitude. As I relate to his dreams through music, it influences me greatly.
Jimi Hendrix is playing the electric guitar and there are also drums in the background. The melody starts off loud and ends loud. Jimi extends the verses and turns them into something wild. He brings more excitement into the song by doing this. Even though people thought that performance at Woodstock was one of his worst, this is still one of the best known versions of The Star Spangled
The dynamics were very forte because the vocalist, Vic Fuentes has a very strong and passionate voice that electrifies and brings to life every lyric. The tempo was allegro, as I said it was very fast paced and made you want to dance. The instrumentation was fabulous, the musicians, Jaime Preciado: Bass, Tony Perry: Guitar, and Mike Fuentes: Drums (who is my idol because I play the drums as well) are by far the best musicians I’ve ever heard in a post hardcore band. They take their music seriously, while also having fun and never losing their unique sound. “Yeah Boy and Doll Face” As they played this very beautiful and romantic song, they pulled up a girl from the crowd and Vic sang it to her.
