Online Shopping VS In store Shopping In the 21st century, you can do anything at the click of a button. There is little to no need for human to human interactions when we can just do everything we need with a computer. Most of our interactions with computers are done via the internet. We can do everything from social networking, to business, to school. We can even shop online. From Amazon and eBay to department stores like Wal-Mart and Target, items can be purchased online with a computer and a few clicks of a button. In today’s world, shopping online is the preferred way to shop. If you have a computer with the internet, you can shop online at any store with a website. Nobody wants to wait in line to buy the one thing they drove so far to get or find out that the item they wanted is sold out. You can just buy it at home. There are plenty of advantages to shopping online. Convenience is just the icing on the cake. The dissimilarity between shopping at stores and online shopping is time. Shopping in the stores spends more time than shopping online. A trip to the mall could take two to three hours including transportation time. You must spend many hours looking for the right products or in the lines trying to purchase it. Comparing the products against another competitor’s products also takes us a lot of time, including drive time to the many stores locations. Online shopping cuts out the time spent on transportation and walking from store to store. Comparing prices is faster online. Most websites allow shoppers to compare product cost and customer satisfaction. Unlike shopping at stores, you do not have to wait in a line or wait till the sales people are ready to help you with your purchases. You can do your shopping in minutes, even if you are busy.
